Yes you can, however it may be worthwhile looking at ways to strengthen your previous application through your personal statement and portfolio.

For Clearing, we ask that all applications are made directly to us in the first instance. Should your chosen GSA programme wish to make you an offer through Clearing, we would then ask you to add this as your Clearing choice on UCAS to formalise the offer.
If you already have an offer from The Glasgow School of Art, but want to change your course through Clearing, get in touch with us as soon as possible when you have your grades and we can discuss your options using our Clearing Helpline.
We aim to respond to all applications made through Clearing within one working day from receiving your complete application.
We are really happy to speak to you about Clearing and the process of applying through Clearing at the GSA. Please call 0800 193 7070 or alternatively email us at [email protected].
There may still be availability in our Halls of Residence for students who receive and offer to study through Clearing. You are advised to contact our accommodation as soon as possible after receiving your offer to study on [email protected] or by telephone (+44) 141 566 1414.
Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies or CAS is a specific requirement for International applicants who receive an offer and require a visa. A CAS is issued from an education provider once an applicant has confirmed that they want to take up their offer and have met any conditions required for that offer, for example proof of qualifications and English Language test scores. The CAS can then be used to make a visa application.
If you are an international applicant requiring a visa for study, and have a query about obtaining your CAS, please contact our admissions team via the Clearing Helpline on 0800 193 7070 or by email [email protected]
Yes. Applicants are asked which entry point they wish to be considered for on their Clearing application form – Year 1, 2 or 3. To be eligible for Advanced Entry into Year 2 or 3, applicants would normally be expected to have achieved a equivalent qualification from a local college or higher education institution e.g. HNC, HND, Level 3/4 Foundation Diplomas or credits from previous university study. Whilst applicants are free to request Advanced Entry based on their education background and experience, any offer made may be for a different entry point based on the academic judgement of programme staff.
